Semi-cured Manchego PDO cheese tasting
In order to continue improving our PDO Manchego cheese, at Las Terceras we have ended the year with a blind tasting of different PDO Manchego cheeses.
The tasting was carried out with six different semi-cured Manchego PDO cheeses, which, although they are the same family of cheeses, had very different nuances between them. During the tasting it was possible to evaluate aspects such as aroma, texture, flavour and aftertaste.
Our master cheesemakers and experts from the world of cheese, such as Dr. Mario Román, took part in the tasting, among others, to guide us in the quality and analysis of the six cheeses tasted.
It is worth mentioning that our PDO semi-cured cheese was the best rated of the six, obtaining the maximum score and thus certifying the good work in the production of PDO Manchego cheese.
