Las Terceras is committed to renewable energies

As an agricultural and livestock farm, at Las Terceras we are very committed to caring for the environment and sustainable rural development. To this end, we have installed solar panels with the aim of promoting energy self-consumption from a healthy and respectful perspective with the environment that surrounds us.

Being a source of renewable energy, the installation of solar panels does not produce greenhouse gas emissions, it is inexhaustible and also helps us to reduce the energy consumption of the farm.

Thanks to our privileged location, in the heart of Campo de Montiel, Las Terceras receives a large amount of sunlight throughout the year, especially during the summer months, when the solar panels of our photovoltaic installation are capable of generating a greater amount of energy, which is used in the optimization of our facilities (barns, pens, cheese factory, and milking parlor, mainly).
